The service life of soda evaporator has always been the core concern of caustic soda industry. Because caustic soda has strong corrosiveness, how to maintain the working capacity of equipment in high temperature and high concentration environment for a long time is a key research topic in the industry. Chongqing Bozhang Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Chongqing Bozhang') has been committed to innovative research in this area, and has made some progress in recent years. Recently, Tan Hanmin, executive vice president of Xinjiang Sino-Thai Innovation Technology Research Institute Limited (hereinafter referred to as 'Xinjiang Sino-Thai'), and Jin Yan, vice president of Xinjiang Sino-Thai Innovation Technology Research Institute were invited to Bozhang, Chongqing, to discuss and exchange on this topic in depth.

To ensure the service life of the device, the material is fundamental. President Tan and his delegation first visited Chongqing Material Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Heavy Material Institute'). The company was founded in 1961. It is a domestic scientific research unit specializing in instrument functional materials research and pilot test, and now belongs to China Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. (China Machinery Group). The Institute has a national high-tech industrial base of functional materials, research and development center and production base, and equipped with 3000KG vacuum induction furnace, 6T electroslag remelting furnace and other large imported equipment. It is a long-term nickel supplier selected by Chongqing Bozhang.






Xinjiang Zhongtai, Chongqing Bozhang and Heavy Material Academy have conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the application and innovation direction of high performance nickel materials in caustic soda chemical industry. At present, dozens of solid soda evaporation units in Chongqing Bozhang have been put in the industry. The key nickel materials produced are provided by Chongqing Material Research Institute. The comprehensive evaluation of chemical composition, organizational properties, technological properties and mechanical properties has been achieved. In 2018, the Institute of Heavy Metals set up an innovative R&D team on the application of materials for solid-alkali evaporation plant. The first batch of new trial-produced materials have been delivered to Bozhang, Chongqing. President Zhongtaitan of Xinjiang put forward suggestions on the technical key problems and application of new materials, and expressed the hope that the three parties could dig deeply for the future application of materials in the subdivision of solid-alkali evaporation plant and establish new cooperation. Mechanisms, so that material innovation can be sustainable development, which undoubtedly provides a favorable guarantee for the life of the whole industry solid-alkali evaporation device.



Subsequently, Xinjiang, China and Thailand and Chongqing Bozhang held an in-depth exchange on innovative technology of solid-alkali evaporator. The conference was organized by Chongqing Bozhang and invited many enterprises, such as Chongqing Institute of Green Intelligent Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as 'Chinese Academy of Sciences') and its downstream industry company, Luban Robot Technology Research Institute, to participate in the exchange. Professor He Guotian, Director of Robot Project Group of Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the meeting.


Xing Dezheng, deputy general manager of Chongqing Bozhang Technology, introduced the innovative technological breakthrough plan of Bozhang Solid Alkali Evaporation Unit. In February 2019, Chongqing Bozhang and the Chinese Academy of Sciences set up a special technical group on this subject, which lasted more than a month and finally achieved results. President Zhongtaitan and Jin of Xinjiang listened carefully to the plan and gave their opinions on the relevant technical details. They expressed their willingness to work with Chongqing Bozhang and the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out the deep integration of innovative technology of solid-alkali evaporation devices in order to realize the deep integration of existing technology. The transformation and upgrading of production capacity, process technology, equipment and products of industrial devices will jointly create high-end technology of national industry in this field, which will become the key to solve the short life of existing industrial devices.
